I have been in the United States for more than 15 years. I am now a teacher by profession. I had to leave my job and move to another state with my husband. Even after trying in many places and a lot of interviews, I was somehow not able to get a job of my choice. Either they were small schools or very far away or they did not require a teacher of my qualifications. I was sitting at home for quite some time and was getting frustrated.

Nothing seemed to be working for me. One Tuesday afternoon, out of desperation, I called Peer Syed Saheb to ask when the right time starts for me - when I will be able to get a decent job. He told me that the right time is always NOW. It will start whenever I want it to start. I was surprised by his answer and told him that I have not been able to get myself a job for a very long time. He asked me if I really cared enough for one. I said of course I did. He assured me that things will be fine. I just have to keep trying and then I can join from next week mostly.

I attended my next interview on Thursday and came back home with a great job offer. I called him immediately and when he came on line, he just asked me – when are you joining? I was first surprised and then delighted by his confidence. Now I have been working with the same school for more than a year. Things are going fine and I really enjoy my job. And, of course, it pays well too…
