Dear friends !

I remember my  childhood days, when Doordarshan was exclusive channel and  I feel satisfied that as a child we had extremely qualitative Tv channel.

I remember serials like " Vyom kesh Bakshi ", "Puruskar", " Udan", "Ramayana" "Neem Ka ped", and"Bharat ek Khoj".........

Highly qualitative and relevant....

But now w e have substandard programmes on Doordarshan, often produced by unskilled media groups .i dont know how they manage to telecast their substandard programmes on national channel.

Majority of rural India watches Doordarshan and they have to compromise with third quality programmes.

Meaning less detective stories and ghost stories are  displayed all the time .
Some thing is  seriously going wrong within doordarshan.

I do agree. DOORDARSHAN has become irrelevant these days. Doordarshan didn't keep up with the time and changing trend in the lifestyle, demographics etc. There used to be a website and we could watch the news even a bit stale but theses days it is not accessible for reasons unknown. Same case with All India Radio. Radio I think has nearly died.
